DATRON is regularly applying the highest standards for metal surfaces finishing. Contact metal surfaces with piezoceramics are plan-parallel rectified. For reaching the highest quality, long operating life and keeping stable characteristics of transducers, finest lapping is standard DATRON's practice.

DATRON is ready to duplicate, copy modify, optimize, or make equivalent transducers, similar to any specific model supplied and/or requested by its clients. If requested by client. DATRON is ready to produce transducer models with exactly the same input impedance characteristics as transducers supplied by clients have.

For big clients (who are already buying high quantities of piezoceramics, paying very low prices for piezoceramics) DATRON is making transducer assembling using clients' piezoceramics (consequently, a client is paying only for metal parts, machining, assembling and measurements).


General Technical Specification
(for all single, cleaning transducers)
1. Sandwich piezoceramic transducer design (BLT= Bolted Langevin Transducers).
2. Piezoceramics: equivalent or superior to PZT-8 or Sonox P-8 types.
3. Piezoceramic diameters 35,38 and 50 mm (for different powers)
4. Power ranges: from 50 W up to 200 W continuous RMS ultrasonic power.
5. Operating frequencies: from 20 KHz to 120 KHz, or multiple frequency..
6. All transducer models can also be also driven on several resonant frequencies.
7. Operating in serial or parallel resonance possible.
8. Mechanical quality factor: between 700 and 1000. both in the serial and parallel
resonance.
9. Uniform (3D) space, ultrasonic activity distribution: eliminated/minimized standing .wave structure in a cleaning liquid.
10. Front emitting mass: the highest available aircraft grade of aluminum.
11. Back mass: stainless steel.
12. Central bolt: the highest available aircraft grade.
13. Electrodes : Special non-corrosive Nickel alloy, with high thermal and electro
conductive.properties (having very low surface friction).
14. External surface (of piezocerarnics) protected against moisture and humidity.
15. Ready for adhesive bonding/bolting fixation to a cleaning tank .
16. Easy applicable for ultrasonic cleaning, liquid processing applications.
 
Special Options
Any customer design acceptable, such as: cylindrical types, rectangular front mass. vertical slits in the front mass. conical front mass, different electrode lengths, and different sizes of piezoceramic.
